Fawaz | Product Designer

Hey, I am Fawaz. A designer and creative.

I have spent over four years designing digital products in fintech and B2B SaaS, shipped Australia's first regulated secondary share trade, built design systems from scratch, and been the only designer in the room more times than I can count. I freelanced too, most notably designing the full UI system for Internet.io, an AI aggregator that launched on Product Hunt and finished in the top 10.

I have always been drawn to two things: creativity and technology. My degree in Computer Systems from Heriot-Watt University in Dubai started to close that gap. Moving to Sydney to study Interaction Design at UTS closed it completely. Along the way I picked up sketching, graphic design, branding, video editing, and filmmaking. Curiosity has always taken me further than any curriculum.

Right now I am building Lilbit, a small tool for people who want to make progress without getting overwhelmed. I am one of those people. Building it with Claude and Cursor, figuring it out as I go.

Outside of work I shoot photos, make videos, sketch, walk in nature, read, and watch too many films.
